How long will my TechnoTan last?
Depending on your skin type, pre-tan preparation and after-tan care a tan will generally last 7 - 10 days. Daily use of Techno Tans Tan Extender is highly recommended.
What do I wear when being sprayed?
This is an individual choice. You can wear bikini, swimsuit, g-string, bra, underwear or be naked. Whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Will TechnoTan turn me orange or streaky?
No, TechnoTan will absolutely not turn you orange or streaky. TechnoTan has the highest grade of DHA available and when applied correctly will result in the most natural looking tan.
I am very fair and dont want much colour?
TechnoTan has colours to suit all skin types which range from the slighest tan all the way up to the darkest of tans.
How long does my tan appointment take?
Approximately 15 mintues.
What type of pre tan preparation is necessary?
For the best result it is recommended that you shower and exfoliate your skin prior to your tan. Always wax and shave at least 24 hours prior and DO NOT wear any make up, mosituriser or deodorant to your appointment.
What should I wear to my appointment?
It is generally best to wear loose clothing some clients even wear their dressing gown or pj's, its completely up to you.
How long do I need to wait to shower after my tan?
Depending on what product you choose either 6 hours, 4 hours or 2 hours. You will be advised of this at your appointment.
I have been sprayed with the 2 hour tan and after my shower my tan seemed to disappear?
Yes this is perfectly normal with the Rapid 2hour tan it will still keep developing for up to 12 hours after the excess is washed away so dont worry your tan will be back.
What is the best way to maintain my tan?
Mositurising is the most important step to maintaining a tan its recommended you use either TechnoTan's Tan Extender or Body Butter. Its also important to use a bodywash and NEVER soap as this will dry the skin out. TechnoTan's Tan Saver Body Wash is great for maintaining a tan as it is Sodium Lauryl Sulphate Free.
Is TechnoTan safe to use if I am pregnant or breast feeding?
Yes, although it is recommended that you either apply mosituriser or cover your nipples.
Does TechnoTan stain?
TechnoTan will not stain anything except for leather.
Do I still need to apply Sunscreen?
Yes it is very important to note that TechnoTan DOES NOT provide any protection from the sun's harmful UV rays.
